Percin 600 MG for Urinary Tract Infection and Kidney Stone

Percin 600 MG for Urinary Tract Infection and Kidney Stone

For the last few weeks I was suffering from acute stomach ache and was diagnosed with Kidney Stone. The doctor prescribed me Percin 600 Mg with Potassium Citrate solution, Calcigard and few other pain killers.

I had been looking for information on the drugs prescribed and found out that it is due to deficiency of calcium and protein diet which leads to the formation of kidney stone and thus Calcigard was prescribed for overcoming the Calcium deficiency.  Potassium Citrate solution helps in breaking the stone formed and clear it via urine and the painkillers were for the pain associated with the passage of Renal stone . Actually the stone starts paining only when it reaches the pipe and blocks the passage of urine.

Normally when the stone moves from the kidney to the Ureter, the blockage cause urinary Tract Infection and thus Percin 600 Mg is prescribed to help the body fight the Urinary Tract Infection. Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Gastric problems are some of the symptoms which ascertains whether you are suffering from Urinary Tract Infection or not. Normally  Percin 600 Mg is to be used early in the morning after breakfast and is prescribed for a period of 10 days.

If the Kidney stone is less than 5 MM the stone passes in about 4-5 days with the help of the medicines and plenty of water (good to drink hot water as it helps relief gastric problems ) and once the stone passes you might feel the urge to frequently urinate which might just be the effect of Urinary Tract Infection, so it is important to continue the use of Percin 600 Mg for the prescribed period for fast recovery from the symptoms of Urinary Tract Infection.

The good thing about using the drug Percin 600 Mg is even when you use it early in the morning you can work normally, you don’t get sleepy or drowsy and it helps immensely in fighting the bacteria which causes Urinary Tract Infection.
