For the past few weeks I had been suffering from slight back pain. The pain was mild so I didn’t bother visiting a doctor and thought it will ease off after few days. Because of the back pain I wasn’t able to do my regular works and had to cut off my exercise schedules as well. The pain lasted for about a week and just when I thought it had eased it became so intense and painful that I had to see a doctor.

The doctor prescribed me Lagaflex (Carisoprodol) along with some tests like X Rays and blood test. I was fine with the X Ray but didn’t understand why he asked for the blood test but since the doctor asked me I had to carry on with the tests. I proceeded with the test but the report was only given to me the next day so I went home and used Lagaflex (Carisoprodol)  as advised by my doctor.

After dinner before going to sleep I administered the drug and within 20 minutes of using Lagaflex (Carisoprodol)  I felt fast asleep and woke up only the nest morning. After a week or so I could sleep well without that awful back pain which was troubling me for over a week. In the morning against I felt slight pain but it was negligible and I collected my report and visited the doctor again. The report was all good and the doctor advised some light exercises along with the medication to be continued for a week.

It took exactly a week before the back pain was completely gone thanks to Lagaflex (Carisoprodol) and the exercise the doctor prescribed for me.

Lagaflex (Carisoprodol) side effects

As long as side effects concerned with using the drug I felt dizziness as soon as I started using it. In just about 20 minutes I felt fast asleep and woke only the next day. Besides feeling sleepy I didn’t suffer from any other side effects . Patients may suffer from rashes, hives, allergies and other skin conditions in which case it is advisable to stop using the drug immediately and consult a doctor.

Zentel Suspension or Zentel Tablets for worms/ Parasites

Zentel Suspension or Zentel Tablets is a broadly used over the counter medication for treating various intestinal parasites.  Albendazole from benzimidazole grouping of anthelmintic agents is the active ingredient present in Zentel Suspension and Zentel Tablets.

What is Zentel Used for?

It is basically used for treating intestinal parasites which is commonly known as worms. It is to be used over night before going to sleep and in about 8 hours the medicine starts showing effect and most probably the next morning you will defecate the intestinal worms harvesting in your stomach or intestine.

Pinworm or threadworm, Roundworm, Hookworms and  Whipworm are some of the parasites which using the medicine helps.

How to know that you have worms in your stomach?

Constipation, diarrhea, skin irritation, rashes, hives are some of the symptoms you need to look out for.  Muscle pain, joint pain, feeling of fatigue, constant hunger, itching near your anal region are some other symptoms. Muscle twitching, sleepless night, frequently waking up at night, grinding of your teeth while sleeping are further implications of worm living in your body and you should consult your doctor or go for OTC drugs like Zentel Suspension or tablets.

Also, you get a tendency to feast on sugar products when you got a parasite living in your body.

Zentel Side effects

In general no serious side effects have been monitored with the use of the drug but in some case stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, skin disorders may be experienced. Normally stomach ache, nausea and vomiting eases off after about 30 minutes of administering the drug but case symptoms persist consult your doctor.

In case of any allergic reaction than you should consult your doctor immediately. 

Normally it is advisable to use Zentel Suspension or tablets once in over a period of six months. Doing so keep your intestine and stomach worms free and prevents from unwanted problems in the long run.  Pinworms, Roundworms, threadworms and tapeworms can harvest in your stomach for long and cause many problems which are not serious but  can be uncomfortable.
